# Retry a stalled firmware update

`POST /api/devices/{device_id}/firmware_update_retries`

## Request

Clears the backoff on a device stuck on an available firmware update, so the next check-in offers it again.

Backoff cleared

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Device belongs to another user
