# Install an app

`POST /api/apps/installations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://trmnl.com`
- URL: `https://trmnl.com/api/apps/installations`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Installs the app for this account. An app already installed answers its existing installation with 200.

## Request body

  - `app_key` string, required: One of the app_key values listApps answers

## Response `200`

Installed, or already was

    - `id` string, uuid
    - `app_key` string
    - `name` string
    - `summary` string, nullable
    - `created_at` string, date_time

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: No such app
