# Get bank

`GET /v1/banks/{id}`

## Request

Retrieve a stored bank by ID. Requires an API key, is rate limited, and costs zero credits.

    - `bank` BankData, required: Shared bank reference data. Unknown profile values are null; icon is the bank logo URL.

      - `foundedYear` integer, nullable, required: Founding year when known. May be populated without an exact date.
      - `foundedOn` string, date, nullable, required: Exact founding date when known (YYYY-MM-DD). Never inferred from the year alone.
      - `description` string, nullable, required
      - `icon` string, nullable, required: Bank logo URL, consistent with merchant icon fields.
      - `color` string, nullable, required: Brand color.
      - `website` string, nullable, required
      - `domain` string, nullable, required
