# Edit content or toggle comment resolution

`PATCH /api/comments/{commentId}`

## Request

The body must include exactly one of `resolved` or `content` — never both. `content` is the author's alone; a `system` comment (the server's record of a replaced STATO) refuses `content` with 403 for everyone, the attributed author included, while `resolved` stays allowed.

Clients render such a row quietly. Its content cannot be edited by anyone (403, the attributed author included); it can be resolved; only an owner or admin of the board's workspace can delete it.
