# Archive a board

`DELETE /api/boards/{boardId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://tre-app.com`
- URL: `https://tre-app.com/api/boards/{boardId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Soft archive: `archivedAt` is set, nothing is deleted. The board leaves `GET /api/boards` and the brief, keeps its `keyPrefix` reserved, and stays readable by its explicit members through `GET /api/boards/{boardId}` (and its lists and cards), by nobody else. Not restorable from the current UI or the API.
