# Withdraw from a Handshake

`POST /api/v1/handshakes/{id}/withdraw`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Scope: trade. Allowed while the Handshake is still being confirmed and no fee has been paid. Cancels the trade; listings stay listed; the other side is emailed.

- `409`: Already confirmed by both sides, or a fee was paid.
- `default`: Error.
