# Stream session status

`GET /v1/sessions/{session_id}/events`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.traversal.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Stream the current session status using Server-Sent Events. A `status` event is sent on connect and whenever the status changes. A `: keepalive` comment is sent every 15 seconds while the session is running. The stream closes after emitting `idle`, `failed`, or `cancelled`; retrieve the final messages with `GET /v1/sessions/{session_id}`.

Session status event stream.

- `400`: The request contains an invalid value.
- `4XX`: Client error returned in the V1 error envelope.
