# Check Channel Visibility

`GET /slack/channels/visibility`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.traversal.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Return whether the slackbot can see the named channel.

## Query parameters

- `channel_name` string, required: Slack channel name to check (with or without leading '#'). Visibility is determined from the slack_channels cache, which is populated when the slackbot joins or sees activity in a channel.
