# Create Category

`POST /memories/categories`

Create a new memory category.

Args:
    request: Request containing category details.
    authorized_user: Authorized user with organization context.

Returns:
    Created category object.

## Request body

- CreateCategoryRequest: Request payload for creating a new memory category.
  - `label` string, required: Label for the category
  - `description` string, required: Description of the category

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- APIApiSchemaMemoriesCategoryInfo: Information about a memory category.
  - `id` string, required: UUID of the category
  - `label` string, nullable, required: Label of the category
  - `description` string, nullable, required: Description of the category
  - `enabled_count` integer: Number of enabled memories in this category
  - `total_count` integer: Total number of memories in this category
