# Create Webhook

`POST /v3/webhook`

Create a webhook and return its generated credential exactly once.

## Request body

- CreateWebhookRequest — Create an inbound webhook with credentials generated for its type.
  - `type` 'github_webhook', required
  - `name` string, required
  - `description` string, nullable

## Response `201`

Successful Response

- CreateWebhookResponse — Created webhook details, including its one-time credential.
  - `webhook_id` string, required
  - `webhook_url` string, required
  - `credential` GeneratedHmacCredentialResponse, required — One-time HMAC credential generated for a webhook.
    - `type` 'webhook_hmac'
    - `secret` string, required
