# Get New Session Alert Config

`GET /admin/organizations/{organization_id}/new-session-alert`

Read one organization's new-session alert setting.

Platform admin only. Includes live channel membership so the UI can tell the
admin that the alerts bot still needs an invite.

## Path parameters

- `organization_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- NewSessionAlertConfig — The per-organization internal-alert setting, as the admin UI sees it.
  - `enabled` boolean, required — Off unless a platform admin has turned it on
  - `channel_name` string, nullable — Configured channel name, without the leading #
  - `channel_id` string, nullable — Resolved Slack channel ID
  - `suggested_channel_name` string, required — Convention-based default to pre-fill when nothing is configured
  - `excluded_emails` string[] — Addresses that should never raise an alert, e.g. teammates on personal mail
  - `bot_is_member` boolean, nullable — Live membership of the configured channel; None when none is resolved
