# Liveness probe — returns gateway version, no DB touch

`GET /healthz`

Lightweight uptime check. Returns gateway version + service name. Does not touch the Postgres pool. Use this for load-balancer health checks and uptime monitors (StatusCake, Pingdom, etc.).
