# Simulate Create Prefund

`POST /v3/simulation/create-prefund`

Prefunds in any currency can be accepted from organizations. These prefunds can be used for payouts.

- `MID` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `currency` string, required: Supported fiat or crypto currency code.
  - `amount` number, required: Prefund amount. Must be greater than 0.
  - `partnerId` string: Optional partner reference stored on the prefund.

## Response `200`

Prefund created successfully

- object
  - `orderId` string: The generated prefund id (pfId).

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request (unsupported currency or invalid amount)
- `500`: Internal server error
