# Run Research Snapshot Public

`POST /research/snapshot`

## Request

Trigger a topic snapshot research run.

Generates 50 focused prompts on the supplied topic and runs them through
the same pipeline as the in-app /research snapshot feature. Consumes one
of the brand's monthly snapshot credits (Trial 1 / Growth 5 / Scale 5, per
active brand). The brand must be active (tracking on).

Snapshots typically take 3-5 minutes. Use GET /research/runs to poll for
the completed payload, or GET /research/latest?report_type=topic_snapshot
to fetch the most recent one.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed, or expired credentials

- `500`: The operation failed
- `503`: Authentication, entitlement, or a required dependency is temporarily unavailable
