# Update Brand Location

`PUT /get-brands/location`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.trakkr.ai`

Set a brand's primary geographic market (country, optionally region/city).

This pins the brand's home market so competitor analysis and AI search
results are measured against the right region instead of defaulting toward
global/US-skewed results. Updating the primary market reuses the existing
primary slot — it does not consume an extra-market add-on.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, malformed, or expired credentials
- `402`: The current plan does not fund this operation

- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: The operation failed
- `503`: Authentication, entitlement, or a required dependency is temporarily unavailable
