# Add ticker to watchlist

`POST /v1/watchlist`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://tradewink.fly.dev`
- URL: `https://tradewink.fly.dev/v1/watchlist`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Add a single ticker to your watchlist. Requires `trade` permission.

## Request body

- AddWatchlistRequest
  - `ticker` string, required: US stock ticker symbol (1-5 uppercase letters, optional .X suffix)

## Response `200`

Ticker added (or already present)

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid ticker
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Insufficient permissions (requires trade)
- `429`: Per-key rate limit exceeded (`code: rate_limited`). Wait `Retry-After` seconds.
