# Get historical OHLCV data

`GET /v1/quotes/{ticker}/history`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://tradewink.fly.dev`
- URL: `https://tradewink.fly.dev/v1/quotes/{ticker}/history`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns historical price bars for a ticker over a given period.

## Path parameters

- `ticker` string, required: US stock ticker symbol (1-5 uppercase letters, optional .X suffix)

## Query parameters

- `period` '1d' | '5d' | '1mo' | '3mo' | '6mo' | '1y' | '2y' | '5y'

## Response `200`

Historical bars

    - `period` string
    - `bars` HistoricalBar[]
      - `Date` string, date-time
      - `Open` number
      - `High` number
      - `Low` number
      - `Close` number
      - `Volume` integer

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid ticker or period
- `404`: No historical data
- `429`: Per-key rate limit exceeded (`code: rate_limited`). Wait `Retry-After` seconds.
