# Earnings implied vs historical move

`GET /v1/earnings/{ticker}/moves`

## Request

Options-implied earnings move (ATM straddle, IV fallback) compared with the stock's historical post-earnings reactions, plus EPS beat rate. Every number is computed from market data; missing sources are listed in data_gaps.

## Path parameters

- `ticker` string, required: US stock ticker symbol (1-5 uppercase letters, optional .X suffix)

## Response `200`

Earnings move report

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid ticker
- `429`: Per-key rate limit exceeded (`code: rate_limited`). Wait `Retry-After` seconds.
- `502`: Analysis failed
- `503`: Feature disabled
