# Suggest Symbols

`GET /v2/data/symbols/suggest/{text}`

Suggests symbols semantically based upon partial input of symbol name,
company name, or description. Does not return Options symbols.

## Path parameters

- `text` string, required

## Query parameters

- `$top` integer
- `$filter` string

## Response `200`

Symbol Suggest

- `400` — Bad Request
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Forbidden
- `500` — Unexpected Error
- `502` — Bad Gateway
- `504` — Gateway Timeout
