# Get contact details by phone number

`GET /v2/contacts/{phone_number}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tracklysms.com/api`
- URL: `https://api.tracklysms.com/api/v2/contacts/{phone_number}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Returns contact info across ALL lists the account owns.

  - `lists` ContactListMembership[]: List memberships

    - `custom_fields` object: Custom fields
    - `list_id` integer: Sending list ID
    - `list_number` string: Sending list phone number
    - `send_count` integer: Total sends
    - `signup_date` string, date-time: Signup date
    - `unsub_date` string, date-time: Unsubscribe date, if unsubscribed
    - `unsub_reason` string: Reason for unsubscribe, if unsubscribed
  - `phone_number` string: Contact phone number (E.164)
  - `timezone` string: Timezone

- `401`: Authentication error
- `404`: Contact not found
