# Update an endpoint's url, events, description or active flag

`PATCH /v1/webhooks/{id}`

Partial update. An invalid or non-public HTTPS `url` fails with HTTP 400. `event_types` is filtered against the supported list exactly as on create; read the response back to confirm what was stored. Setting `active: true` also resets `failure_count` to 0, which is how you re-enable an endpoint we auto-disabled after repeated delivery failures.

  - `data` WebhookEndpoint: A registered webhook endpoint. The signing secret is NOT part of this shape: it is returned once, on create, and never again. `failure_count` and `last_delivery_at` are present on the list and detail responses but not on the create or update responses.

    - `event_types` WebhookEventType[]: The stored subscription, after unrecognised names were filtered out.

    - `failure_count` integer: Consecutive delivery failures. Reset to 0 by a PATCH setting active: true.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `404`: `NOT_FOUND` — no such endpoint on your organisation, or the update failed.
