# Force an immediate re-poll of a container

`POST /v1/containers/{id}/recheck`

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

Recheck queued.

- object
  - `ok` true, required
  - `api_version` string: The response contract this build answers, as a date. Pin it in your client.
  - `data` RecheckStarted, required: The payload. Everything an endpoint returns sits under this key.
    - `recheck` string: Reads "started" once the re-poll is queued.
    - `id` string: Stable identifier for the record. On the tracking endpoints this is the container UUID, except on a portfolio summary row, where it is the container number.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `404`: Unknown container id.
