# Recent regulatory changes for one or more product categories.

`GET /api/v1/regulatory/changes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.tracepass.eu`
- URL: `https://app.tracepass.eu/api/v1/regulatory/changes`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://app.tracepass.eu/api/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://app.tracepass.eu/api/oauth/token`, scopes: `regulatory:read`)
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://app.tracepass.eu/api/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://app.tracepass.eu/api/oauth/token`, scopes: `passports:read`)

Returns a summary of what changed in law and standards for the
specified product categories since a given date. Useful for keeping
a compliance profile up-to-date and for answering "what changed?"
questions.

Auth: Bearer API key OR OAuth with `regulatory:read` OR
`passports:read`. Counts as one scope answer.

## Query parameters

- `categories` string[]
- `since` string, date
- `locale` 'en' | 'bg' | 'de' | 'it'

## Response `200`

Recent regulatory changes.

- object
  - `since` string, date, required: The effective `since` filter applied.
  - `changes` object[], required
    - `category` string, required: Affected product category key.
    - `date` string, date, required: Date the change was published or entered into force.
    - `summary` string, required: Short plain-language summary of what changed, in the requested locale.
    - `instrument` string, required: Regulation or standard that changed (e.g. `EU 2023/1542`).
    - `article` string, nullable: Article reference when the change is article-specific.
  - `ruleIds` string[], required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: Account not eligible (OAuth + `X-Source: assistant` only).
- `429`: Daily scope-answer cap reached.
- `503`: Regulatory data temporarily unavailable.
