# Test Connection

`POST /workspaces/{workspace_id}/integrations/{provider_id}/test`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://platform.tracecat.com/api`
- URL: `https://platform.tracecat.com/api/workspaces/{workspace_id}/integrations/{provider_id}/test`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `fastapiusersauth`
  - HTTP bearer

Test client credentials connection for the specified provider.

## Path parameters

- `workspace_id` string, uuid, required
- `provider_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- IntegrationTestConnectionResponse: Response for testing integration connection.
  - `success` boolean, required: Whether the connection test was successful
  - `provider_id` string, required: The provider that was tested
  - `message` string, required: Message describing the test result
  - `error` string, nullable: Error message if the test failed

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
