# Delete Folder

`DELETE /workspaces/{workspace_id}/folders/{folder_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://platform.tracecat.com/api`
- URL: `https://platform.tracecat.com/api/workspaces/{workspace_id}/folders/{folder_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `fastapiusersauth`
  - HTTP bearer

Delete a folder.

If recursive=true, deletes all subfolders and moves the contained workflows to root.
If recursive=true and delete_workflows=true, deletes the contained workflows too.
If recursive=false (default), fails if the folder contains any subfolders or workflows.

## Path parameters

- `folder_id` string, uuid, required
- `workspace_id` string, uuid, required

  - `recursive` boolean
  - `delete_workflows` boolean

## Response `204`
