# Search User

`GET /users/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://platform.tracecat.com/api`
- URL: `https://platform.tracecat.com/api/users/search`
- Auth: API key in cookie `fastapiusersauth`

Find a member of the caller's organization by email.

Users outside the caller's organization return 404, the same as an unknown
email, so the route cannot be used to enumerate accounts. Platform admins
are scoped the same way; platform-wide lookups go through ``/admin/users``.

## Query parameters

- `email` string, email, nullable
- `workspace_id` string, uuid, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- UserSearchRead: Identity fields returned by the org-scoped user email search.
  - `id` string, uuid, required
  - `email` string, email, required
  - `first_name` string, nullable
  - `last_name` string, nullable

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
