# Create User

`POST /scim/v2/Users`

## Request

Provision a user, linking an existing account rather than conflicting.

## Request body

- ScimUserRequest: An inbound User resource on POST or PUT. ``userName`` is the only attribute Tracecat stores as identity; the display and name attributes are accepted so providers do not see a validation failure, but nothing here maps onto a Tracecat column.
