# Delete Scope

`DELETE /rbac/scopes/{scope_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://platform.tracecat.com/api`
- URL: `https://platform.tracecat.com/api/rbac/scopes/{scope_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `fastapiusersauth`
  - HTTP bearer

Delete a custom scope.

Only custom scopes can be deleted. System and registry scopes are protected.

Requires: org:rbac:delete scope

## Path parameters

- `scope_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

Successful Response

## Other responses

- `403`: Platform scope or scope from another organization.
- `404`: Scope not found.
- `422`: Validation Error
