# Delete Role

`DELETE /rbac/roles/{role_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://platform.tracecat.com/api`

  - API key in cookie `fastapiusersauth`
  - HTTP bearer

Delete a role.

Roles with active assignments must have all assignments removed first.

Requires: org:rbac:delete scope
