# Logout a user from any provider

`POST /logout`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8000`

Clear the legacy ``access_token`` cookie for older clients.

Does **not** revoke bearer JWTs. Session tokens are stored in browser
localStorage and remain valid until natural expiry or MFA denylist
revocation paths. The frontend clears local auth state on logout.
