# Delete locations

`DELETE /locations/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.torgix.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://app.torgix.ai/v1/locations/{id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://app.torgix.ai/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://app.torgix.ai/oauth/token`, scopes: `write`)

Soft delete: stamps `deleted_at`; the row disappears from reads unless `?include_deleted=true`. Nothing is ever hard-deleted. Repeating the call returns 200 with `already_deleted`. Supported where the underlying table keeps a `deleted_at` column; otherwise 501 `delete_not_supported`.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `403`: API access not enabled for the account, missing scope, or IP not allowlisted.
- `404`: Resource not found in this account.
- `429`: Per-second rate limit exceeded.
- `501`: The resource or operation is not available (table not provisioned, or no deleted_at column for delete).
