# Lookup Account

`POST /v1/accounts/lookup`

Look a company up in Topo's lead database.

The LinkedIn company page is the surest match; the domain is tried when
the page is unknown, and a domain shared by several companies reads as
not found. Nothing is written to the workspace and no credit is spent —
use `POST /v1/accounts` to save the company as an account.

Requires the `accounts:read` scope on the API key.

## Request body

- LookupAccountPublicInput
  - `linkedin_url` string, nullable: LinkedIn company page URL, the surest match.
  - `domain` string, nullable: Website domain.

  - `found` boolean, required: Whether Topo's lead database holds exactly one matching company.
  - `name` string, nullable: Company name.
  - `domain` string, nullable: Primary domain.
  - `linkedin_url` string, nullable: LinkedIn company page URL.
  - `logo_url` string, nullable: Logo URL.
  - `industries` string[]: Industries.
  - `employee_count` integer, nullable: Headcount.
  - `headcount_growth_6m` number, nullable: Headcount growth over the last six months, in percent.
  - `country` string, nullable: Headquarters country.
  - `year_founded` string, nullable: Founding year.
  - `revenue_lower_usd` integer, nullable: Lower bound of the estimated yearly revenue.
  - `revenue_upper_usd` integer, nullable: Upper bound of the estimated yearly revenue.
  - `last_funding_round_type` string, nullable: Type of the last funding round.
