# Add Prefix and Suffix

`POST /api/v1/tools/add-prefix-suffix`

Put the same text in front of and behind every line of a text. Nothing is escaped or interpreted, so quotes, commas, brackets and HTML tags all pass through as typed. Use it to wrap a column of values in quotes for a SQL IN clause, turn a keyword list into hashtags, or build list markup from plain lines.
