# PDF to Word

`POST /api/v1/render/pdf-to-docx`

## Request

Rebuild the text layer of a PDF (public URL, max 10MB, up to 200 pages) into an editable .docx with paragraphs, headings and page breaks. Scanned PDFs without a text layer are refused (OCR runs in the browser tool only). Returns a hosted download URL valid for 24 hours plus pages, scannedPages and paragraphs. Same metering as the other render endpoints.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid, private, scanned or unreadable input
- `429`: Render limit reached
- `502`: Conversion failed
