# Image resize

`POST /api/v1/render/image-resize`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://toolforte.com`
- URL: `https://toolforte.com/api/v1/render/image-resize`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - none

Resize an image (public URL, max 15MB) and return a PNG. Give a width, a height, or both; one side keeps the aspect ratio. Returns a hosted download URL valid for 24 hours. Same metering as the other render endpoints.

## Request body

- object
  - `url` string, required: Public URL of the source image
  - `width` integer: Target width in pixels
  - `height` integer: Target height in pixels

## Response `200`

Hosted resized PNG download URL

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid, private, or unreadable input
- `429`: Render limit reached
- `502`: Resize failed
