# Word to PDF

`POST /api/v1/render/docx-to-pdf`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://toolforte.com`

Convert a Word .docx (public URL, max 20MB) to PDF. Headings, lists, tables and images are laid out on A4 by headless Chrome. Returns a hosted download URL valid for 24 hours. Same metering as the other render endpoints.

## Response `200`

Hosted PDF download URL

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid, private or unreadable input
- `429`: Render limit reached
- `502`: Conversion failed
