# Store or overwrite an entry

Persistent key-value memory scoped to your API key. An agent is stateless between sessions: without a store like this, everything it learned is gone when the conversation ends. Entries survive across sessions and across tools, and are readable only with the key that wrote them. Free with an API key: no render credits are consumed. Limits: 100 KB per value, 1,000 entries and 10 MB per key.

  - `value` string, required: Value to store, max 100 KB. Serialise objects to JSON first.

- `400`: Invalid key or value
- `401`: Missing, invalid, or revoked API key
- `413`: Entry or total quota exceeded
