# The subjects a report step's entries cover

`GET /reports/copy/subjects`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tonbridge.school`
- URL: `https://api.tonbridge.school/reports/copy/subjects`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

**Requires permission:** *ReportAdmins*

Distinct subject codes taken from the step's entry names (an entry named "MA 10A1" is subject MA), each with how many entries carry it. Feeds the subject picker on the copy-between-reports screen.

## Query parameters

- `stepId` integer, required

## Response `200`

Success - Got subjects

- GetReportCopySubjectsResponse
  - `subjects` ReportCopySubject[]
    - `code` string, nullable
    - `description` string, nullable
    - `entryCount` integer

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
