# Withdraw a Mobile Number Exemption

`DELETE /Students/ContactExemptions/{pupilUPI}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tonbridge.school`
- URL: `https://api.tonbridge.school/Students/ContactExemptions/{pupilUPI}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

**Requires permissions:** *Admin* or *Housemaster* or *Matron* or *SeniorStudent*

Withdraws the exemption, so the pupil is asked for a verified mobile again at next sign-in. The row is retained, not deleted: that the School once recorded this boy as uncontactable by text is exactly what a later safeguarding review would need to see.

Success - Exemption withdrawn

- `404`: Not Found - No such pupil, or no exemption to withdraw
