# Name the account's owner, change it, or send the confirmation again.

`POST /api/agents/owner`

## Request

A different address replaces the owner, restarts confirmation, lifts a pause caused by an owner saying the address is not theirs, and is mailed a confirmation. The same address as an unconfirmed owner sends the confirmation again. An account made before owners keeps working on a paid plan and is asked to name one by a notice (owner_requested). An account a signed-in person owns has that person as its owner and answers 409 owner_is_account_holder.

## Other responses

- `400`: The input is not valid
- `401`: No valid API key
- `409`: The request conflicts with the account's state
- `422`: The engine refused the input, a limit of the service's refused it (error: video_limit or pull_limit) or stopped the job, or the content policy refused the input (error: content_policy)
- `429`: A limit was hit; reset_at says when it lifts (also in Retry-After)
