# Get the current version of Toma

`GET /api/version`

## Request

The version this deployment runs (semver; each production deploy bumps the patch version, or the minor version for a net new feature). Open pages compare it with the version they loaded to offer a refresh. MCP clients also get it as serverInfo.version from initialize.
