# Find members with open tasks

`GET /api/tasks/posters`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.toma.com`
- URL: `https://www.toma.com/api/tasks/posters`
- Auth: none required

Members with open tasks and how many each has, most first. q matches part of the name in any case; poster_id looks members up by id. Without either, lists the members with the most open tasks. Use the ids as poster_id on GET /api/tasks or /api/tasks/search. Same as the list_task_posters MCP tool.

## Query parameters

- `q` string: Part of the poster's name, any case. Empty lists the members with the most open tasks.
- `poster_id` string[]: Only these members, for example to show the names of ones already chosen.
- `limit` integer: Maximum members to return. Default 20.

## Response `200`

Matching members, most open tasks first.

    - `id` string, required: Their user id. Public page: /members/{id}; JSON: GET /api/members/{id}.
    - `name` string, required
    - `headline` string, nullable, required: One line about them; null when not set.
    - `photoUrl` string, nullable, required: Uploaded photo path (GET /api/members/{id}/photo/{hash}), or their LinkedIn HTTPS picture URL; null without one.
    - `count` integer, required: Open tasks.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid search parameters.
