# Read an open task's comments

`GET /api/tasks/{id}/comments`

## Request

Public, Reddit-style threaded comments with scores. Build the thread from parentId; siblings are ordered by sort. Signed-in callers also get their own votes. Same as the list_task_comments MCP tool.

## Other responses

- `400`: Unknown sort.
- `404`: No open task has that id.
