# Read private context media or an original

`GET /api/me/resources/{id}/media/{asset}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.toma.com`
- URL: `https://www.toma.com/api/me/resources/{id}/media/{asset}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

Owner access is checked for every request. Original recordings and notes download as attachments; rendered playback supports byte ranges. No public URL is created.

- `asset` 'video' | 'audio' | 'captions' | 'original' | 'note', required

## Query parameters

- `track` string

## Response `200`

Private bytes with the original media type, no-store and nosniff headers.

## Other responses

- `206`: Requested byte range.
- `400`: Invalid input.
- `401`: Sign in. Capture tokens do not grant access to context.
- `404`: Context or task creation is missing, removed, or owned by another member.
- `409`: The revision, context version, quota, or task state changed. Refresh before retrying.
- `416`: Invalid byte range.
- `503`: Storage or automatic processing is unavailable. Originals remain private.
