# Set notification preferences

`PUT /api/me/notification-preferences`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.toma.com`
- URL: `https://www.toma.com/api/me/notification-preferences`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

Application, message, work, file, invitation, and payment alerts are on by default for every Toma tool call. Re-enabling after opting out includes only new events; no email, background push, or delivery receipts. Disabling stops automatic alerts across all connected agents.

- `400`: Check notification preferences.
- `401`: Sign in first.
