# Delete the caller's account for good

`DELETE /api/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.toma.com`
- URL: `https://www.toma.com/api/me`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

Same as the delete_my_account MCP tool. Deletes the profile, photos, personal files and files on their posted tasks, task drafts and walkthrough recordings, applications, sessions, API keys, agent access, and their identity check with our verification partner; open tasks are closed. Messages and comments the caller wrote, finished tasks, and payment records stay without their name. Refused while the caller is hired on, or has hired for, work that is underway. Cannot be undone.

## Response `200`

The account is gone.

## Other responses

- `400`: confirm isn't the exact confirmation text.
- `401`: No valid session or API key.
- `409`: Work the caller is hired on or hired for is underway.
- `413`: The request body exceeds 2097152 bytes.
