# Get email preferences

`GET /api/me/contact-notifications`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.toma.com`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

## Response `200`

Private notification settings.

    - `messages` boolean, required
    - `applications` boolean, required
    - `accepted` boolean, required
    - `work` boolean, required
    - `payments` boolean, required
  - `emailAvailable` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Check the notification preferences.
- `401`: Sign in first.
- `403`: Verify your email first.
- `409`: Your notification settings changed. Reload and try again.
- `429`: Too many requests.
- `503`: Notification provider unavailable.
