# Trigger Sync

`POST /v1/integrations/microsoft-365/sync`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.tokumalabs.com/api`
- URL: `https://app.tokumalabs.com/api/v1/integrations/microsoft-365/sync`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Password
  - Token URL: `v1/auth/token`

Trigger manual MS365 email sync for the current user.

Queues the sync task on a high-priority queue for immediate processing.
Only syncs emails (Teams calls sync on scheduled interval).

## Response `202`

Successful Response

- UserSyncResponse: Response from triggering a manual user sync.
  - `status` 'queued', required: Status of a sync operation.
  - `user_id` string, required: User ID that was queued for sync

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error or domain rule violation.
- `401`: Missing, expired, or invalid authentication.
- `403`: Authenticated but not permitted.
- `404`: Resource not found.
- `409`: Resource state conflict (duplicate, illegal transition).
- `422`: Request body failed schema validation.
- `500`: Server-side failure.
