# Create 3D model generation task

`POST /v1/3d/generations`

Creates a 3D model generation task using Tripo3D. Returns a task ID for polling.

## Headers

- `X-TokenLab-Delivery-Policy` 'auto' | 'verified' | 'official'

## Request body

- object
  - `model` string
  - `prompt` string: 3D model description. Required for every model that takes a prompt; an image-to-3D model whose contract lists no prompt is called without one.
  - `image` string: Base64 image for image-to-3D
  - `image_url` string
  - `format` 'glb' | 'fbx' | 'obj' | 'usdz'
  - `quality` 'draft' | 'standard' | 'high'
  - `style` string: Style hint for compatible 3D model families.
  - `seed` integer: Seed for repeatable generation where supported by the model.
  - `user` string: End-user identifier.

## Response `200`

Task created

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `503`: The requested Delivery tier is temporarily unavailable.
