# Delete a shadow experiment

`DELETE /v2/projects/{projectId}/endpoints/{endpointId}/shadowExperiments/{id}`

## Request

Deletes a shadow experiment and its target records. The underlying deployments are not deleted.

## Path parameters

- `projectId` string, required: Project identifier.
- `endpointId` string, required: Endpoint identifier.
- `id` string, required: Shadow experiment identifier.

## Query parameters

- `etag` string: Etag for optimistic concurrency.

## Response `200`

OK

- DEDeleteResponse: Empty response returned after a successful delete operation.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `default`: Default error response
